Before programming the phone, obtain the following information from the
cellular carrier:

  Customer cellular Phone number (_ _ _) _ _ _ - _ _ _ _.

  Carrier System ID _ _ _ _ _.

  Carrier Access Overload Class _ _.

  Carrier Group ID _ _.

The battery must be charged to program the phone.  The AC charger adapter
is not sufficient to program or operate a phone with a discharged battery.
Mobiles must be connected to a power source.

Note:  If you make a mistake, press CLR and reenter data, or turn power
       off to begin again.

1.  Press PWR ON, then press FCN 0 000000 000000.

    Note:  The zeros do not appear in the display.

    Then press RCL.  01 appears.

    (If 00 appears, you might have pressed the keys too slowly or entered
    an incorrect security code.  Press CLR and try again.)

2.  Press < *.  00000 appears.

    Enter the 5-digit Carrier System ID.

3.  Press < *.  O2 appears.  (02 2 appears when programming the 2nd phone
    number.)

    Press < * again.  111 appears. Enter the customer's 3-digit area code.

4.  Press < *.  03 appears.  (03 2 appears when the programming 2nd phone
    number).

    Press < * again.  1110111 appears.

    Enter the customer's 7-digit cellular phone number.

5.  Press < * three times.  05 appears. (05 2 appears when programming the
    2nd phone number).

    Press < * again.  0 0 appears.

    Enter the 2-digit Carrier Access Overload Class.

6.  Press < *.  06 appears.  (06 2 appears when programming the 2nd phone
    number).

    Press < * again.  0 0 appears.

    Enter the 2-digit Carrier Group ID.

    If you want to change the security code, unlock code, and/or pursue
    programming options such as entering a second phone number, continue
    to Step 7.  If not, press < * then SND.  Programming is complete.

7.  Press < *.  07 appears.

    Press < * again.  000000 appears.

    Enter a 6-digit security code, or go to Step 8.

    Note:  WE do not recommend changing the security code.  If the user
           forgets the security code, the phone must be reset by an
           authorized service center.

8.  Press < *.  0 0 appears.

    Press < * again.  000000 appears.

    Enter the 3-digit unlock code, or go to Step 9.

9.  Press < * four times.  11 appears.

    Press < *;  Display shows a six digit number.

    Write your six digit number here:

       __ __ __ __ __ __
       1# 2# 3# 4# 5# 6#

    To disable the handset's internal speaker (only if your installation
    contains a separate external speaker/VSP unit), write a "1" in the
    first space below.

    To program a second phone number, write a "1" in the fifth space below.

    Do not change your 2nd, 3rd, 4the or 6the numbers.  Copy them below
    exactly as shown above.

    If you wish to make no changes at all, go to Step 10.

    To make changes, enter this number:

10. Press < *.  1 2 appears.

    Press < *.  A 5-digit number appears.

    Write your five digit number here:

    To turn the failed page indicator off, write a "1" in the first space
    below.

    To disable the 8-hour time-out, write a "1" in the fifth space below.

    DO not change the 2nd, 3rd, or 4the numbers.  Copy them below exactly
    as shown above.

    (If you don't want to make changes copy the entire default setting.)

    Enter this number:

    Press < * then SND.

    If you do not want to program a second telephone number, programming
    is now complete.  If you want to program a second telephone number, go
    to Step 11.

11. The display shows 0 1 2.

    Repeat Steps 2-6 using the information pertaining to our 2nd carrier.

    Press < * then SND.  Programming is complete.
