Nokia 2160 Field Test Screens {31jan97}

The field test display can be activated in the NAM programming procedure.
(*3001#12345 MENU to enter programming mode).
These display are not meant for use by the end user.

There is a total of five field test screens.  The display number is shownin
the top right corner of the screen. Use the up/down arrow keys to switch 
between different displays. You can toggle the actual readings and the alpha
explanations of what they mean by pressing the "ABC" key.

d    = data receiving status
       0 = no sync/no data
       1 = sync/ not able to read
       2 = reading correcting
       3 = reading no correction
S    = slot [1-3]

SID  = system ID [0-32767, - = not locked]

DCCH:
M    = maximum paging frame class supported by network [1-8]
C    = current PFC (paging frame class) [1-8]
FB   = number of F-BCCH slots
E    = number of E-BCCH slots
SP   = number of SPACH slots
pc   = PCH subchannel
net  = supported network types, bit map [1=suported, 0=not, C=current]

DTCH:
DTX  = ?
ENCR = shown when message encryption is on
CIPH = shown when voice ciphering is on
d    = data receiving status [0=no sync, 1=sync]
Be   = Bit error rate in % [0-16]
TA   = current time alignment [0-30]

ACCH:
XSTBY= shown when extended standby is on

AVCH:
SAT  = SAT validity as measured by DSP [0-32767]

NA   = Number of Analog neighbors [0-24]
ND   = Number of Digital neighbors [0-24]

Screen 6 - "Normal" display

This screen is present only after a certain version of the EPROM software
(around 1.45).  It is the non-test mode display...a welcomed addition
(thanks Nokia!)
