HOW TO CRASH YOUR SANYO SPC4000 CELL PHONE by LuCiFaR A couple of days ago I fell in love with my new Sanyo SPC4000 Clearnet PCS phone. This phone is one of many that support the new UP.Browser and wireless Internet. In order to set up Internet access on this model of phone, you have to specify the UP.Link. This is done by entering ##2769737 and trying to save it to your phone book. Well, there is a few of these ## combinations but I do not know them yet. So while sitting at Shades Lounge in Kingsway Mall (Edmonton, Alberta), I was trying to find some of them. This is what I found: Shutdown: Enter ## and any 6 digits, move down to save and press ok. Hard Crash: Enter ######## , move down to save and press ok. Well, the Hard Crash seems to totally lock up the phone and requires you to pull the battery to be able to get the damn thing to work again. Although this is a pretty lame file, I can think of one use of this crash "feature". Find someone who has that model of phone. "Borrow" it to make a phone call. Enter ######## and save it, then hand it back and tell them it is broken. Well, that is all.... --LuCiFaR--
