Getting Rogers/Shaw 'ME TV' Service Free

For those of you who do not know what Me TV is I suggest
you close this file now.  But if you know what your sort of
doing then read on...

1.)	Okay, Step One you need to locate the Rogers Cable Box somewhere
	around your house.  I heard that the newer houses built have the
	boxes in the garage but that is not yet confirmed.  Now this box
	is probably right beside your BC Tel box, but this one is bigger.
	It is usually gray with a metal cylinder on the bottom for security
	purposes.  Here is a Text Diagram, not very detailed but you have
	an idea of what to look for.

2.)	Step Two, if you try and "unscrew" the metal cylinder it just keeps
	turning and turning, if it DOES happen to spin off then skip this step.
	Now there are two ways of removing this cylinder.  Method One - is you
	can take a small allan key or screwdriver and put it up the VERY middle
	of the cylinder bottom pushing up and "unscrewing" at the same time.
	To explain this in more detail there is a small sort of 'button' device
	inside the cylinder.  Rogers has a special tool that will push the
	'button' in with no hesitance.  So make sure the tool you are using is
	small enough to push the 'button' in.

	Yet, Another way is Method Two - push the cylinder forward towards yourself 
	and apply medium pressure while turning the cylinder at the same time and
	it should either pop off or spin off easily.  Although this method may
	cause damage to the box or cylinder I recommend Method One.  You don't
	want to bring heat to yourself.

3.)	Once you have removed the cylinder, remove the cover by sliding it down.
	Now you'll see a bunch of cable, a Y-Adapter (Cable Splitter), and a
	item that looks like the cylinder you just removed but a bit bigger and
	with maybe a colored piece of tape, this is the "ME TV Blocker".  It will
	look along the lines of this:

4.)	Now all you have to do is remove this cylinder looking device and plug
	your MAIN cable line into the Y-Splitter located at the OUTPUT end of the 
	"ME TV Blocker".  Now if you don't see this blocker but you know your area
	has "ME TV" the device is probably located on top of the telephone pole
	where the cable companies line meets your house.  Be Careful if you are
	going to climb the telephone pole, big charges involved if caught.
