We're releasing 4 new files that detali some of the most important (yet somehow overlooked) STO events of 99-2000. Oh yeah, make sure to check PDW out at http://mp3.com/pimpdaddywelfare -*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+- WHO IS PDW? McPhisto -*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+- At first listen I wondered what the hell Pimp Daddy Welfare was talking about because in the first lines he mentions he has his skillet and a wooden spoon. Puzzled, yet still curious about the fine talent that could be hidden behind the ingenious name, I continued to listen. I could sense the pain and anguish that has been stored inside this fine musician, pain and anguish that can't be kept in anymore, pain and anguish that will be used to write one of the finest amateur raps I've ever heard. Pimp Daddy continues, bringing up the rap little by little until it explodes into a climax of phat rhymes and amazing flow. Immediately we see that the rapper feels as though he has his image to fulfill, that he won't be taken lightly, that his business is serious business. Who can argue such lines as "Cookin at the Waffle House, I'm cookin up a fat rock of crack" and "I wanna get drunk, real fucking drunk man, drunk as a skunk, drunker than a skunk that's really drunk. I wanna get so goddamned drunk that you can smell my drunk funk from like, 50 miles away..."? Pimp Daddy then terminates the verse with the most direct, mean punching line in the song, "And I want some mothafuckin waffles too.". The rap proceeds into the chorus and it is here that Pimp Daddy shows us his real mission at the Waffle House. He tells us that he's cookin at the Waffle House as well as pursuing some sort of sexual relation. We are also given a glimpse at what could be a possible ass fetish Pimp Daddy has buried deep within his psychie. Even though the song continues to build intensity, it begins to spin into a downward spiral of lust and captivity. We see that the anguish, pain, and lust that has built up inside Pimp Daddy has finally taken him over and assumed any control. Although the song remains consistent in verse:chorus ratio, the hatred and aggressiveness continues to grow throughout the song as well as the flow and rhyme. There is definitly talent buried deep within in Pimp Daddy... somewhere... if he will ever uncover this talent is something that only he will ever know. But I believe it is fair to say that this young, striving musician has come along way since the days he was shaving his head and listening to nothing but Pantera and Sepultura. I think it is fair to say that I give this song two squeeks becuase it is truly amazing. -*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+-*-+- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Issue #12 December 10th, 2000
